Add an additional language, market, or region

A market in GetMint is a country + language pair, and it's its own data scope: each market has its own prompts, its own competitor list, and its own reports. AI assistants behave differently per market (different training data, different source mix, different ranking), so we treat them as separate from day one.

Add a market

  1. Brand setup → Market & Language.
  2. In the Brand Information panel, find the Market & Language section and click the + button.
  3. In the "Add Market & Language" modal, pick the Country and the Language.
  4. Click Add.

The first market you add is marked Primary. The new market then appears in the market filter at the top of every report.

What you need to set up per market

  • Prompts — these don't carry over automatically; market-specific phrasing matters. Translate, don't transliterate.
  • Competitors — the competitive set often differs by market; declare per market.
  • Sources to watch — local publishers and comparators dominate AI source lists in their home market.

Filters apply per market

Every report has a Market filter at the top — set it once and it persists across tabs. Reports default to "all markets" if you don't pick one; Share of Voice across all markets is rarely the metric you actually want, so set the filter.

Key takeaways

  • A market is a country + language pair; data is scoped per market.
  • Add markets from Brand setup → Market & Language — plan-gated (2 / 2 / 3 / custom).
  • Prompts and competitors are per market — they don't carry over from another market.
  • Set the Market filter on every report; "all markets" rarely tells you what you want to know.
