Brand Alignment
Brand Alignment measures whether AI describes you accurately — your positioning, pricing, and key features as you'd want them surfaced in an answer.
Visibility tells you how often AI mentions you. Brand Alignment tells you how AI mentions you: does it describe your product the way you describe it, or does it confuse you with a competitor, mis-state your pricing, or skip the differentiator you sell on?
Common Alignment problems:
- Wrong positioning. AI says you do X when you actually do Y.
- Stale pricing. AI quotes an old price tier.
- Sub-brand confusion. AI tags a sub-brand mention against the parent (or vice versa).
- Homonym brand. Another brand with a similar name pollutes your data.
If Alignment is low, the fix is usually in your brand identity settings — tighten the canonical name, add aliases, and declare any same-name brand explicitly. See Brand detection.
