Visibility Score
Visibility Score is the percentage of relevant AI responses that mention your brand naturally — when someone asks a question without naming any brand (e.g. "best project management tool for startups").
It's GetMint's core metric: how often AI surfaces you unprompted. A higher score means AI engines pick you up as part of their default shortlist for the topics you track. A lower score means they don't — yet.
A few things worth knowing:
- The score is a probability from repeated simulations, not a fixed ranking. AI models are non-deterministic, so the number moves a little week to week. Read the trend, not one snapshot.
- It's measured per topic and per model — your Visibility Score on ChatGPT for "marathon running shoes" can be very different from your score on Gemini for the same topic.
- A low or zero score isn't a failure — it's your baseline. The point is to move it over time.
